AI Agents 101

I have been wanting to blog for a while now. Though I have been fascinated about Fintech the past 6 years, I am more exicted about the prospects of AI. From CNN (Convolutional Neural Network) to NLP (Natural Language Processing), to LLM (Large Language Models) to RAG (Retrieval Augmented Generation) to Agentic AI- the space is advancing so rapidly

I know we are always asking where do I start from. Even as a technical person , I have asked this question several times, from what topics to study to what Masters program to take.

Trust me, you just need to start … but where and how? I am very active on LinkedIn and I follow AI focused hubs and individuals. I have a long list of them I follow. I will recommend Y Combinator https://www.linkedin.com/school/y-combinator and Akshay https://www.linkedin.com/in/akshay-pachaar/. As you follow a few, the algorithm will bring you more AI content.

I must say the projects from Y Combinator are mind blowing and gets you thinking. Research is a big part of innovation I believe.

Lastly Google, IBM ,AWS, Coursera etc have free courses you can explore and experiment with. Just start, that’s what I will say. Read, learn, read an AI related topic frequently. Once you grasp the concepts, you will be guided on what to focus on gradually
